Great tasting food and very cozy interior! Borscht soup and the pelmeni dumplings were standout highlights. Service was amazing and we even got drinks on the house. Will come back here again in the future!

Food: fantastic food options (breakfast, dinner) offering a great opportunity to try some Ukrainian dishes. Everything tasted fantastic and they have a wonderful selection of desserts. Service: in general, service has been fantastic but the restaurant could be better in terms of efficiency and organization for pickup orders, particularly the weekends. On busy days, there is no way for guests picking up takeout to quickly get their orders because there is no section or separate queue offered. This can cause confusion and frustrate customers as they try to navigate between waiting in line versus wanting to quickly get their items and leave. Another issue has been the restaurant seems woefully understaffed for the weekends. They definitely need more help -- tables don't get cleared in time, the lines get really long which exacerbate wait times, and the restaurant team gets overwhelmed. They get snappy and upset with customers since they are so stretched which really ruins the dining experience. I really hope the owners would consider getting more servers for the weekends, even at part time, because it appears their team is just drowning under orders. There is just no way that two people are enough to handle dine in guests in addition to managing incoming takeout orders. Ambiance: dine in is a really nice, peaceful experience but there is limited seating due to the small space and because most of the table settings are al fresco, it's tough to enjoy -- especially when the weather is cold. MP does thoughtfully provide heat lamps and blankets but sometimes, it just isn't enough. All in all, it's a great place to have a relaxing brunch / dinner, just wish they could be a little more efficient with order management.

I've never had Ukrainian food before. However, I love to try food from various cultures. This did not disappoint. I had Mlyntsi /chicken and mushrooms. It was really good lol You order from the counter and they bring the food to you. With that, they were very attentive. I would definitely go back. Cute little place.

Great service, the girl at the front is very polite and welcoming, our waiter was quick and positive, had a great experience with people there. Food is on the other level. It is so warm and tasty, you can taste that's made with love. We got so many dishes there and everything tasted great. Borsh, pelmeni, vareniki, napoleon cake, salo, mmmmmm. I am getting hungry again by just writing this review. Atmosphere is pleasant, there are pretty sunflowers as a decoration, comfortable chairs and heaters outside. I would love to come here more often! Great place with delicious food. Best Slavic restaurant in LA county.

Amazing Ukrainian food with an authentic vibe from start to finish. The place had a cozy, welcoming feel, and our waiter--definitely Ukrainian--added to the experience with friendly, attentive service. We ordered dumplings, chicken, and savory crepes--each dish was flavorful, comforting, and clearly made with care. For dessert, we tried the honey cake and strawberry éclairs. Both were fresh, not overly sweet, and you could tell they were made with quality ingredients and a lot of heart. A genuinely memorable meal that felt like a slice of Ukraine. Slava Ukraini!

After a lovely sunny afternoon spent in peaceful fountain park located right out front of Mom, Please we stopped in for some tea and a bite to eat. The décor here is right up my alley I was obsessed the moment we walked in! I am all about the boho, natural color theme they have got going on as well as the attention to details in the décor and abidance. I even noticed they even have some of the same lights and décor I have in my place so I immediately felt right at home! We had the best time talking and laughing with the two employees about the different flavors of tea as well as which savory and sweet pirozhki were on the menu. We ordered one Watermelon Berry Mint Green Tea and one Honey Mango Passion Tea both hot. They were both great, even better once we mixed them together since the Honey Mango Passion was pretty sweet compared to the Watermelon Berry Mint. Couldn't have asked for more with their lengthy menu of different tea, latte and coffee options. I am a BIG tea girl so with just the tea menu alone they will be seeing me much more frequently! Although our absolute favorite filling in a pirozhki is mashed potatoes and these were not available we ordered a cabbage pirozhki (11/10) and a sweet pirozhki juicy cherry, fragrant apple. The food here is comfort food just as if it is coming straight from babushkina kuchnia) We had the best experience here! I love to see that they change the greenery in the front based on the time of the year. When we visited it was full of sunflowers which are one of my favorite flowers. This restaurant is so bright and cheerful and at the same time it is calming and peaceful. The location is great! Lots of parking. No worries in the world to worry about when you're enjoying your afternoon/evening at Mom, Please Ukrainian Food. 10/10 recommend.

I love how cute this place is! My first time trying Ukrainian food and it was yummy! I got the deruny with salmon and the combo along with the tzatziki sauce was delicious. I do think it's over priced as that meal plus a matcha latte was $30. Service was just okay but this spot is perfect for a quick breakfast or lunch!

Came here late at night and it was such a great find. The food looked and tasted great. I love the decorations inside the restaurant, so vintage and cozy. I will try to come back for their breakfast menu as it looked appetizing as well. Bonus point for very clean bathroom.

Dare I say - one of my favorite lowkey, cafe spots in my immediate neighborhood. Mom, Please is serving Ukranian food, an under represented but incredibly flavorful cuisine of food in the LA area with a very cute neighbood ambiance tucked away in Playa Vista. As a lover of all varynky and dumplings and coffee, it reminds me of my boyfriend's grandma's home cooking! The dumplings were amazing and the beef rolled cabbage (Sorry I'll spell it wrong) was amazing. They're all light bites but satisfying. I'd even love to come and try their pizza. This place needs more attention and love because of its unique food that's done right!
